This kids story book was great when teaching the reptile/amphibian lesson. it showed a bunch of each type and helped my class to understand the differences and similarities between the two groups! Great book for boys and the pictures are very colorful and fun to look at. Even adults were interested in the info and the wild pictures. This kids story book is for kids reading levels ages 9-12.

Fisher-Price Little People Worlds of Adventure

I have a two and a half year old son whom we started reading the flip-the-flap books with about three months ago. He loves them. These little kids books are interesting for him and more interactive with the flaps, counting, object and animal identification and more! The Fisher Price series of these are particularly well made with stiff cardboard pages and sturdy flaps. For as energetic as he is, the books have suffered no damage. I have purchase eight or nine so far and they are her favorite bedtime reading. They ship quickly and are packed well. This little kids book is for kids ages 0-4.

Barbie Loves Her Friends

My daughter really enjoyed reading this book. Nice to have a three in one book too. Five stars for sure. Young girls will be delighted with this treasury featuring three wonderful Barbie friendship stories: My Fabulous Friends, Barbie Loves Pets, and Secret Hearts. and this gorgeous collection features a padded cover and sturdy pages. This story book for kids is for reading level 4-8.

Fisher-Price Little People Lift-the-Flap Cars, Trucks, Planes and Trains

My four year old son absolutely loves this book! He finds the colorful illustrations and numerous flaps endlessly entertaining and makes up his own little explanations of events. Flaps are sturdy and easy to flip up. Never been disappointed in the quality from Little People books. Not much of a story but imaginative fun nonetheless. This little kids book is for kids reading level ages 0-4.

The Story of Easter: Read and Share

This Easter children's book, The Story of Easter, certainly did not disappoint my kindergarten age son or I. The book starts with the procession of Palm Sunday, with Jesus riding on the donkey, then takes the reader through Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday and finally Easter Sunday. I was quite impressed with the close to truth telling of the story, as it is sometimes difficult to tell this story to children. It is written in a simple, yet truthful manner for all to understand. The illustrations are also a plus, giving the reader an often needed visual (yet not too scary with the events of Good Friday). I entirely recommend this book for all families who have small children and want to explain a bit fuller the truths and events of Holy Week. Where Are Baby's Easter Eggs?

Baby is looking for Easter Eggs. Where are they hidden? She looks behind the bushes, in the laundry basket, behind the flowers, under the picnic table, up in the tree and even behind the gate. She does not find the eggs until the end, but at each "lift the flap" there are items that relate to Easter, such as a bonnet, jelly beans, bunnies and chicks. At last she finds the shiny colored eggs. The celebration can begin. Toddlers always enjoy lifting the flaps to see what is behind them. The little round headed baby changes poses on each page. Children are introduced to a variety of vocabulary-extending prepositions as well as items that relate to Easter. The card stock flaps are probably not sturdy enough for libraries, but this Easter children's book would be a nice addition to an Easter basket. Easter Mice!

Mother Mouse bedecked in her Easter bonnet takes her three children dressed in jackets and ties outside for an egg hunt. The two older ones begin to search right away but the youngest gets sidetracked. He thoroughly enjoys picking flowers ("Sniff! Whiff!/ Spring! Fling!"), rolling in the mud, swinging on a branch, and boating on a leaf. When Mother Mouse gathers her three boys, the youngest is upset because he is the only one with no eggs. He runs away but happens upon an egg that cracks and reveals "An Easter friend." Cushman's illustrations in springtime colors extend a spare but energetic text that is full of action words. The expressive faces of the little mice will engage the reader. There are a number of imaginative touches in the interior of the house, such as the pencil that serves as a curtain rod and the postage stamp that is a picture on the wall. A nice little holiday story with a reassuring premise for young listeners.

The simple declarative phrases and gently humorous illustrations are just right for the age group...Stickers are included. Gossie and her friends are back, dyeing Easter eggs. As in the other "Gossie and Friends" books, the illustrations are bright watercolors against a white background. Fans and newcomers alike will be delighted with this latest installment. This Easter children's book is for kids ages 4-8.

Peanuts: The Easter Beagle Egg Hunt

A bit advanced for my toddler child, but the plastic eggs are great for counting fun, and we talked about the positive and negative characteristics of Lucy and some of the other kids.
