20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

A monster has appeared at sea, a monster that can cross oceans and seemingly continents. Pierre Aronnax thinks he knows its origins. But when he and two friends attack the monster, they discover it is actually a great underwater machine, and the sea. Red-uniformed officers of the Nautilus stand in stark contrast to their undersea world rendered in a blue and gray palette. With simplified text, Professor Aronnax narrates this encounter with Captain Nemo, his fantastic underworld and the giant squid. This graphic novel makes a classic work accessible to younger readers, in a suspenseful and visually stimulating format. This graphic novel is for teen readers. Leave us your comments. Pretty Little Liars #6: Killer

I love the Pretty Little Liars book...they're amazing!!! I have never read a teen book that made me so NERVOUS and ANXIOUS to find out who A is and Ali's murder!! I think I know who A is as well... My friend and I (well mostly her) came up with what I think is an award-winning theory!! Well first of all I believe that there are three A's, well 2 now since Mona is dead, and I think they were all working together. The second A I think is...Jenna. Why? Because if you remember in Flawless, Toby wrote a letter to Emily and Jenna gave it to Emily. When Jenna handed Emily the letter she said "your part is somewhere in the middle.."....ummm how did Jenna know that??? She can't read...she's blind!!! Yeah I doubt that she is... but she's probably out to get them b/c they were mean to her in middle school.
Okay, this is going to sound so crazy but our 3rd A suspect is.....Alison!!!I know crazy, right? She's dead. Yeah, well I don't believe that!! Why? Remember in , I forgot other Perfect of Unbelievable, Emily was in the yearbook room and she was looking at the page dedicated to Ali and she saw the pic that Mona had in her purse of Ali and then Mya came in and asked who was that and Emily said "Alison" and then Mya said "that doesn't look like Ali"...what Mya said was very IMPORTANT!! Who out of Aria, Spencer, Hannah, and Emily saw Ali's body in the ground of her backyard??? None. However, Mya did. so what mya was saying was that the "Alison" in the pic doesn't look like the "Alison" who was in the ground dead!!!! So the "Alison" who is dead isn't the real Alison..It's someone else!! And if you read Wicked,Ian proved this theory. He said "there were two blondes in the woods that night". and if ali's alive, she killed Ian.And i think Jason knows that's why he said he doesn't communicate with his family because "they're too messed up"... I mean how AMAZING would that be to end the series with the final A being reveled as Alison!!!?? This teen book is for teens reading levels ages 12-18. Leave us your comments. Extreme Halloween: The Ultimate Guide to Making Halloween Scary Again

Every year I look forward to the next Tom Nardone masterpiece. The stuff he does with pumpkins is inspiring. Pumpkins with flames coming out of them. Pumpkins in chains that form archways. Pumpkins that create giant insects. Pumpkins that form the weird heads on fake corpses. Anything one might imagine and lots that we never could without Tom Nardone. So funny. So grotesque. This Halloween book is an expanded one that has suggestions for costumes-pranks-party food-creatures, and of course, Pumpkins! What would Halloween be without 'em? Or, without the genius of Tom Nardone? Highly recommended. This Halloween book is for the older kids. Teens will have fun with this exciting Halloween book. Leave us your comments. Your feedback is greatly appreciated. Let us know what other Halloween kids books you would like to have reviewed. Check out our Halloween kids book sale going on now.

Hack// Another Birth Volume 3

.Hack Another Birth is written by N.Kawasaki. It is a science fiction novel. I thought the book was awesome! It always kept me guessing and had a lot of surprise turns. Most of the time the book takes place in an online video game called The world. Other times it takes place in the real world. The major conflict is Akiras brother Fumakazu has fallen into a coma wile playing The World. Akira must find the reason why he is in a coma with the help of her online friend kite. Akiras online friend Mistral (whom she eventually meets in the real world.) has to quit playing The World because she it pregnant. Akira was ok with this and said it was best the she did quit due to all the stuff that'
s been happening in the game. Lios and Helba two characters in the story really dislike each other but they must join forces in order to help Akira and company to fix the world. Akira thinks of a plan to bring them together and work out a deal for Lios to join. This book is biased on Akiras point of view. There are a lot of big words that are hard to pronounce in this book. For people who like science fiction and online games .Hack would be the best choice. They will get a suspenseful and page turning book.

hack// Another Birth Volume 2

Soon I finished the first book in 3 days I went back to the kids book store and bought the second one and like the first I couldn't stop reading. I played the game no my brother did until some point and had to stop, not because we wanted to, but when I got to the point where we had stopped playing the game I was so enthused I even considered buying it. I did not even need to open the book to know it was going to be good when I saw it on the shelf at the book store. There was no need to because the game was good and the book I can not compare. I completed it in 3 days and loved everything about it. I will reread all the books just for the heck of the love I have for them. Any more books that come out for the .hack//series I'm getting without thinking of the outcome or what I was planning to use the money on.

.hack// Another Birth Volume 1

This book was amazing and I can not wait to get the second one. I loved the plot twists because I thought I knew what was going to happen but I was so wrong. This book just pulled me in and I could not stop reading it, so I read the whole thing in one day. Everyone that is into any form of manga should try this series out. It is very important to read the postscript though so don't forget it. This book would get a 100 on a scale of 1 - 10. That is how good this book is. The only draw back is that there are a few typos, but this is normal for a first run of a series. This book is targeted for young adult readers. Your teenagers will love this book for teens.

47

In this exciting novel by Walter Mosley published in 2006 you will learn about the hard times that had to be endured during the 19th century. A 14 year old slave boy growing up in 1832 meets a strange man named Tall John. Tall John then teaches him some weird science and then introduces him to the meaning of freedom. 47 is a fascinating book that shows what previous generations had to go through at the time they lived. This is a young adult book intended for readers between the ages of 13-17.
