Flower Girl

Being the flower girl in your big sister's wedding is an important and sometimes scary job. The flower girl gets to wear a pretty dress, carry a basket of flowers and walk down the aisle before the bride. Knowing all of this, the little girl still has one problem. She is anxious and nervous about "messing up" her part of the wedding. Follow the big event from the engagement to the wedding ceremony. The vocabulary is controlled, the sentences are simple and the text is broken up into short lines to make reading easier. Here is the ideal way to show your toddler what happens at the swimming pool. A real understanding of the realities of family life is the highlight of these warm and reassuring little kids books. Parents in Touch Charming read. Packed full of details that had me imagining mini stories about the other characters. The style of illustration are realistic and the story is a great depiction of going swimming. These kids books are absolutely lovely. They should do very well for the really young person who might be about to go and do one of these things. This little kids book if for children reading level ages 3-6.

The back cover claims that "The excitement adds up on each page of this action-packed book." That, I am afraid, may be a bit of a stretch for this simple board book that counts from one to ten. The illustrations are stylized, the baby has a huge head, the cats extra long bodies and the dogs are not particularly realistic. The number on each page is big and bold, as is the word naming the objects to be counted. The scenes appear to be random and do not provide a story or lead to any conclusion. There is nothing exciting or outstanding about this counting book. However, it is a good introductory preschoolers book. This little kids book is for ages 0-4.

Fisher-Price Little People Worlds of Adventure

I have a two and a half year old son whom we started reading the flip-the-flap books with about three months ago. He loves them. These little kids books are interesting for him and more interactive with the flaps, counting, object and animal identification and more! The Fisher Price series of these are particularly well made with stiff cardboard pages and sturdy flaps. For as energetic as he is, the books have suffered no damage. I have purchase eight or nine so far and they are her favorite bedtime reading. They ship quickly and are packed well. This little kids book is for kids ages 0-4.

Fisher-Price Little People Lift-the-Flap Cars, Trucks, Planes and Trains

My four year old son absolutely loves this book! He finds the colorful illustrations and numerous flaps endlessly entertaining and makes up his own little explanations of events. Flaps are sturdy and easy to flip up. Never been disappointed in the quality from Little People books. Not much of a story but imaginative fun nonetheless. This little kids book is for kids reading level ages 0-4.
